CONSTITUTION



- Has was set up by the Parish council
but as an independent body to advise/investigate Heritage / History
matters for the Parish Council.
- The Westleigh Parish Heritage Forum
committee is made up of interested Parish Councillors and
members from persons interested in the history of the Parish.
- Number of Westleigh Parish Heritage
Forum council members 6 (six) and to include a Secretary and Chairman
and Vice Chairman.
- The Westleigh Parish Heritage Forum
will study / investigate any Heritage / History subject as deemed of interest
in the parish area.
- The Heritage Forum will as far as
possible encourage local people, young and old to take an interest in the
local history and help in any research.
- The Westleigh Parish Heritage Forum
may use outside help if required in the Heritage / History studies.
- The Westleigh Parish Heritage Forum
may publish findings on studies as deemed fit. (Books or CD’s).
- Membership is not be restricted to
members living in the parish.( Use Secretary link above to join)
- Should the membership grow to such a
number then a membership fee may be required to cover postage, etc. (As agreed
by Westleigh Parish Heritage Forum Council).
- Westleigh Parish Heritage Forum to
have one or more pages on parish website.
- Westleigh Parish Heritage Forum
although independent of the council will at Parish Council meetings keep the
council advised of any points of interest.
