The old Road(Track) to shore 1828 +/-

This track was most likely used down to the river to obtain a ferry to and from Appledore, Instow and places and to ship in goods or export from the Quarry 

In 1824 there was no road along the bottom till later when  the rail line was built, the main road ran through Eastleigh
